In this webinar Dr. Marc Caball explores many facets of Tralee and how it evolved from the 18th century to the mid-20th century. Dr. Caball is associate professor at UCD School of History. He holds a B.A. and a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford.  His research interests centre on the cultural history of early modern Ireland, British Atlantic history and urban history. Some of his recent publications include ‘Munster and India: the local and global in early modern Ireland’ in Sarah Covington et al. (eds), Early modern Ireland: new sources, methods and perspectives (Routledge, New York, 2019)
