In this webinar Dr. Knightly explores some of the upstanding and lost Big Houses of Kerry. Dr Knightly works as a civil servant in the heritage sector and has a background in landscape conservation, having completed a PhD in history on the Kerry Big Houses. He is currently working on editing the diaries of Major Markham Leeson Marshall of Callinafercy House, Milltown for publication and is also working with Jane and Maurice O’Keefe on a forthcoming book which will explore the Big Houses of Kerry.
