Tune into CountyWide, with Sean Hurley on Radio Kerry on Sunday, May 24, at 7pm, to listen to our President Jimmy Deenihan talk about our society and his plans for the next three years. Marie O’Sullivan, past-president and long-time editor of The Kerry Magazine will be interviewed on the “facts behind” our new website, the Magazine and the Society’s Outreach Programme to-date.
Tony Bergin, editor of the Journal of the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society, will share news about the current issue of the Journal. Unfortunately, our programme of activities has had to be suspended due to the Pandemic, but Jerry Flynn, chair of the Programme subcommittee, will outline plans for the remainder of 2020 and for 2021 also. Though you may not currently be able to interact with the Society, in the way in which we would all like, there is lots going on in the background, so be sure to tune in and hear all about it.
